The Spirt of Howdens
The spirit of Howden inspired by the combination of “spirit” as in alcohol and spirit in the people. Howden is steeped in history as a small market town in the East riding of Yorkshire.
The business has evolved over many years firstly as an independent chain known as rhythm and booze to then become part of a corporate chain as conviviality and later a franchise to then full independence in its current form.
Our Vision
The current owners have a vision which has propelled the business into supplying what our customers have requested and has broadened its offering considerably since it ceased being a corporate store.
Through a wealth of knowledge and exploration of the market it allows a huge product range across a large part of the drinks sector including specialist tobacco products.
In part we endeavour to support local breweries and distilleries and work in partnership to deliver ever evolving niche products and older established brands.
Whilst not pretending to compete with the multi nationals we keep prices competitive offer selected deals and never lose customer focus.
